Countertops made of concrete are the trend that will take off in 2007. The use of concrete countertops creates a look of distinction and that is earthy and natural; something stainless steel lacks. Concrete is a versatile moldable medium that is handcrafted into slabs. This is not just a piece of sidewalk on your kitchen counter, but can be designed and fabricated to the customer’s desires. Decorative elements can be added as well such as glass chips, broken tile and even the imprints of leaves and twigs.
